There is a very interesting story regarding Tulsi’s birth. After giving birth to Bhushan and Khushali, (Tulsi's elder siblings) her parents were quite a contempt with their family and finally decided not to have any more children, But the case changed after the sudden death of Gulshan Kumar's mother. The news was really depressing for him and he wished to have another daughter. Gulshan was a strong follower of God Shiva and Vaishno Devi Mata, he pilgrimaged at there front to pray for a girl child, somebody told him that he would have a baby girl on 15 March, and that way his demised mother would return to back to him, shockingly Tulsi was born on 15 March.

Tulsi's family is a typical Punjabi Hindu family. She was born in New Delhi as she spent most of her youth there only. On the educational front, Tulsi has Completed Graduation in Economics and Psychology. She later married to Hitesh Ralhan on 18 February in the year 2015 in New Delhi only.
